I provide culturally sensitive, psycho-therapeutic services to a diverse population and consider the relationship between client and therapist to be one based on collaboration and trust. I encourage a mindful approach to a journey of self discovery that leads to personal growth and development. To facilitate meaningful and productive living I blend psychotherapy with modalities such as, mind-body awareness, somatic experiencing and mindful based cognitive therapy, that are as unique as the challenges each client faces.
I have a specialty in ADHD, anxiety, grief and loss, and trauma resolution. I teach research proven Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction skills to adolescents and adults which offers increased, non-judgmental, awareness of our stress reactions and teaches healthy ways to respond. I offer coaching, both individually and in a group setting, that encourages insight into the obstacles that prevent finding success in life, and facilitates the transformative process of personal growth.
