Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I believe that everyone can benefit from a positive psychotherapy experience. My goal is to offer a genuine, compassionate and respectful relationship with my clients, so they reach greater self-awareness and insight. Through our development together, clients can achieve greater satisfaction with the overall quality of their lives and attain the personal tools needed to strengthen their intimate relationships. I view mental health similarly to physical health: when there's an injury or illness, seeking professional intervention, guidance and support can improve overall wellness.

I've been practicing psychotherapy since 1994, helping clients from birth (mother/infant psychotherapy) to 82. I work with adults, adolescents and children in the context of couples, families and individuals. My clients are from many cultural and economic backgrounds and are working though a wide range of personal and family issues.
