Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a dedicated clinician working with individuals and couples in a relational way to support growth and self-development. My background in mindful meditation, creative arts, mythology, and movement provide a unique combination of skills to provide a grounded experience both of the here and now and a deep looking at the effects of family of origin traumas. Focusing on body, mind, and spirit can give you a wholistic perspective of your situation, and direction for both healing and creating a sense of peace and happiness in your present day life. I am training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and work with the historic attachment issues that create a sense of disconnection in relationship. We can also work creatively using Sandplay and SoulCollage (r). Please feel free to contact me for more information or a consultation.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
