Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
If you are experiencing difficulties in your life, therapy can help. While everyone comes with their own unique story, and the process of healing is not always linear, there are three constants that guide my work to help ensure treatment success. You can trust that I will think carefully, and care deeply, about our work together and your healing process; I will skillfully ask questions unique to your life, so that the buried answers, already within you, are revealed; and I will ensure a safe, non-judgmental space for you to freely explore, as we find solutions and healing around the difficulties you are facing. I utilize a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to therapy, tapping into the inherent wisdom and power of the body and mind. I help individuals of all ages work through challenges associated with trauma, anxiety, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, attachment and adoption related issues, and relationship problems. I view therapy as a gift one gives themselves, their children, or their family. The statement one makes by attending therapy is, "I matter," "I am important," and "I deserve to live a life that feels good."

About My Practice

Office Hours
I maintain flexible office hours, including weekday evenings and occasional weekends (for appointment reschedules).
Services
I am occasionally available to meet with families in the comfort of their own homes. I offer this service to families who reside within a 20-mile radius of my office. I believe in the healing power of the mind-body connection; therefore, I especially find value in working with children (and their parents) outside of the office, such as at a park, where the child is more free to engage his or her innate nervous system responses of "flight," "fight," or "freeze." This allows for deeper exploration and healing through the wisdom of the body.
