Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a young, energetic, therapist in my thirties with two small children, as well as having over ten years of experience working therapeutically with children and their parents. I have extensive training in “Theraplay”, a specialized type of parent and child therapy that was developed for attachment disordered children. These qualities combine to help me be very effective and empathetic with my client’s and the many issues they bring to me. I relate well to people in general and most clients’ report that they feel very “comfortable” with me and my therapeutic style.

I am in private practice, delivering telemedicine via Skype and FaceTime or by phone. My area of special emphasis is helping people improve their important relationships, and working with my clients to decrease and stop depression. If you are reading this, chances are one or more of your important relationshps are not working very well. Whether it's difficulty with a partner or spouse, teens or parents, friends or co-workers, a troubled relationship is painful.
