I work with all issues that involve the mind-body connection. Whether you are experiencing a stressful life transition, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, relationships or sexual difficulties, whether you have survived a shock trauma such as a surgery or car accident, or suffer from a chronic illness, a mind-body approach uses the latest neurobiological knowledge to help you reset and regulate your nervous system as well as update your belief system and stabilize your emotions.
I have been in private practice since 1990. In my work with individuals and couples, I synergistically integrate Relational and Jungian psychology with the somatic* approaches of somatic experiencing, body-mind centering, cranio-sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, neuromuscular therapy, and postural integration
Lastly, I facilitate support groups for women 50+, developing empowering ways of redefining aging. Among the issues explored are menopause, empty nest, health, longevity, and career transitions.
