Personal Statement:
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in the Orange County Area. I am in my 30's with eight years of experience in my field. I have two offices to meet with you at your convenience in Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach. I am currently able to accept the following health insurance plans: APS Healthcare, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, and plans that have out of network benefits. I specialize in therapy for children, families, and individuals with various learning and cognitive disabilities. I am culturally diverse and I am also fluent in American Sign Language. I have an LDS background. I utilize the following theoretical orientations in treating my clients: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy. In working with young children I utilize Play and Art Therapy.
