Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a psychotherapist, I take great pride in creating a safe, educational and empathic environment, where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings to improve relationships with both themselves and the outside world. Through this exploration, clients discover and dissipate emotional roadblocks to reach their full potential and become the best version of themselves they can be. With a gentle but direct approach, I help clients reach their goals by providing support, information and concrete solutions to their life issues. I have made two appearances on the TODAY show, been interviewed on National Public Radio and WS Radio, been quoted in Cosmopolitan as well as several online outlets including Huffington Post, Glamour, EHarmony, PBS, WebMD, AolHealth, IVillage and more. These clips and articles can be viewed under the Media/Press section of my website.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
