Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have extensive experience working in a family-centered agency helping families recover and rebuild their lives through a strength-based program (emp.org). I also have extensive experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families and meeting them where they are in their walk of life (www.cccsanjose.com). I am certified in the Prepare-Enrich assessment that helps engaged and married couples focus on core strengths and growth areas. I have received Gottman training, a research based approach to building healthy marriages.

I am passionate about:
- Helping couples rebuild intimacy and renew their relationship
- Helping Families find hope during difficult times
- Walking with others along the journey of self discovery
- Supporting those in pain

I believe therapy is an effective tool to bring change, healing, and hope into one’s life. In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities, being creative and spending time with family and friends.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
