Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I can help you increase self acceptance, and improve insight into relationship patterns. I offer a caring and supportive presence, empowering you to identify uncomfortable feelings and develop ways to manage conflicts and behaviors. The relationship we develop becomes a safe place for you to explore feelings, observe reactions and gain clarity on your current experience. The therapy becomes the container to release old beliefs, to heal trauma and to embrace self compassion.

I also offer a group for women, using art therapy and other modalities. The group provides an opportunity to develop a sense of community and deepen your relationship to yourself, your sense of purpose and your creative spirit.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
