Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Welcome. I provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in trauma, survivors of abuse, relational issues, life transitions, grief and loss, eating disorders and body image concerns, depression, and anxiety. I use a combination of talk therapy, mindfulness, art therapy, and the outdoors (eco-therapy), individually tailored to your needs and abilities. My approach is person-centered (that's you!), culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental. I want you to feel truly seen and heard wherever you are at. I can help you find and develop your inner strengths and coping skills that may be hidden or undeveloped because of difficult events or situations you have experienced. Our work together can help you overcome obstacles, heal, and thrive. I understand that therapy can be a scary idea to many people. I create a comfortable, safe space for you to explore your concerns and make positive change. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey to wellness and discovery.
