Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Our journey through life is often filled with losses, big and small. These losses can bring pain in the forms of anxiety, depression, and destructive behaviors that distance us from family, friends, loved ones...and even ourselves. This can cause distress for you in many ways, emotionally, mentally and physically. If you are feeling pain in any of these ways, be assured there is no need to struggle on your own any longer. It makes sense to seek non-judgmental assistance with someone who will work with you in the healing of your mind, heart, and spirit. Whether you are 26 or 76 it's not too late for you to improve your relationships with loved ones, and with yourself. By having someone you trust to walk beside you, you can learn what it takes to be in a healthy relationship, with yourself and with others. Together, you and I will work to develop skills and resources that will allow you to create a life that has meaning for you.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
