Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Circumstances, other people's expectations... even our own self-critical minds shouting "shoulds" cause stress, worry, and weariness. As women, we often feel an unremitting instinct to care for others - it's part of what makes us amazing! But that instinct can overwhelm, producing anxiety, depression, fatigue and other symptoms. I provide counseling to women who are highly motivated to transform their lives while continuing to care deeply for those they love. Together, we'll work to calm the chatter of your mind, create balance, and build a fulfilling, deeply satisfying life.

I am in private practice, delivering telemedicine via Skype and FaceTime or by phone. My area of special emphasis is helping people improve their important relationships, and working with my clients to decrease and stop depression. Whether it's difficulty with a partner or spouse, teens or parents, friends or co-workers, a troubled relationship is painful.
