Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you an adult child still living at home, or is your child all grown up and still living at home? Are you starting to wonder if you will be living like this forever? Are you thinking about what you can do to feel more independent and confident, or to help your child become independent? Maybe you're feeling disrespected but have trouble setting boundaries or knowing what to do next. If so, I'd like to help.

I have worked with many young adults and their families through the transition of growing up and moving out. Maybe you're not really sure if moving out is the answer, but you want to talk about how to make things work better in the home.

If this sounds like you, and you're ready to start thinking about solutions, please call me at (949)306-1512 to schedule an initial consultation to see if I am the right therapist for you. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
