Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
A call to grow often comes to us through crisis: health issues, sudden loss, natural life transitions--endings and beginnings, struggles in our relationships, chronic anxiety, feeling isolated… Therapy can help. I see myself as a guide and guardian while clients come back into balance ---as individuals in the world as well as in their relationships. For a while clients borrow my trust in the process. Together we learn about the aspects of you that may have lost their voice or needs that have been abandoned in order to survive and move forward in life. As we learn to hold ourselves more kindly, this process often includes letting go and grieving, right along with honoring strengths and gifts already possessed. Featured Therapist

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
