Personal Statement:
Do you find yourself arguing more with your partner/spouse? Tired of having the same arguments over & over again? Do you wonder why this isn't working? Have either of you had an affair? Have you found yourself more depressed? I can teach you how to get what you want from your partner and feel better in the process. Every day life, such as careers and children, can cause distance in a relationship. Both men and women desire closeness and intimacy but they show it differently. I specialize in men´s issues. Let me help you reconnect with your partner. Taking a solution focused approach, I help people develop coping skills to handle difficult and stressful life events. Are you able to express your feelings or do you hold them in? Teaching assertive communication, how to set limits and boundaries, manage stress and resolve conflict are my areas of expertise. Specializing in compassionate counseling,I provide short term and concise therapy. I can help you manage difficult emotions and overcome negative thinking so that you can feel more confident and create healthy, happy, and loving relationships. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
San Rafael, CA

My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, supportive, and interactive. My work is based on establishing a safe environment where trust can grow. I view symptoms as a way to call attention to unrecognized needs and unexpressed feelings. The goals of treatment include; learning to identify and express emotions, learning to set appropriate boundaries, developing skills such as self-soothing and impluse control and improving self-esteem.
