Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a personable, interactive, and compassionate therapist whose approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Therapy is a collaborative process designed to bring about relief. I work with each individual and relationship to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. I have worked in higher education for 21 years advising students within a variety of different contexts, emphasizing interpersonal, team and inter-group relations.

Emphasizing solutions, my goal is to help you uncover your potential and make the most out of your life. While we can't change the past, we can work to better understand it with focus on lessons-learned for the present and a better tomorrow. By applying therapeutic approaches and techniques, we will unnerve destructive perceptions and behavior patterns that may be keeping you from getting what you want.
