Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
The choice to seek support in a difficult time is a sign of strength. Whether you are facing a challenge in a relationship, a rough parenting patch, or a personal crossroads, an understanding and compassionate therapist can give you that support. In a safe and confidential space, we will partner to explore solutions to improve relationships and communication. I'm here to help you magnify your strengths and find the clarity to overcome life's obstacles. Whether you are struggling with a major life transition or a difficult decision, depression, anxiety, or an artistic/creative block, I can help you find clarity. Grief and loss (including loss of a pet), substance abuse, self-medication, and ADD/ADHD are also familiar client concerns. In the course of my work, I have also helped children, adolescents AND their parents with a wide range of family issues, including divorce, adoption, negative behavior, chores & responsibilities. PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT UPCOMING GROUPS FOR PARENTS AND ADOLESCENTS. I look forward to speaking with you!

Services
I offer confidential psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and run groups. I am also available for consultation and referrals. The benefit you receive from therapy is directly related to your feeling of comfort and connection with your therapist. I am committed to helping you receive the services best suited for you, and I am happy to discuss your circumstances to determine if working together would be a good fit. Please contact me for a free phone consultation. I also offer HIPPA compliant online therapy. Group therapy is a type of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. Currently, I have an adolescent group, child social skills group, and a parenting group. If you are interested in joining our group, or you are a parent with questions, please feel free to contact me.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
