Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am very good at working with individuals, couples, families, and teenagers. My style is direct and empathetic. I believe clients should get solid feedback from therapists and that the therapeutic experience is rewarding.

I am primarily a cognitive-behavioral therapist but much of my work is eclectic. I like to give clients tangible, concrete tools they can walk away from each appointment.

I specialize in Anger and Stress Management for adults, adolescents, couples, families, individuals, HR Managers, and employees; however, I also see clients for a variety of other reasons, particularly relationship issues, anxiety and depression. We offer anger management and parenting group classes each week. Visit our website or call for details.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
