Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you yearning for a more authentic life? I would be honored to join you on your journey of self-discovery. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples seeking to improve relationships, overcome challenges, and create more fulfilling lives. While I have experience treating many mental health issues and diagnoses, I prefer to focus on strengths over pathology. My goal is to serve as a guide and create a setting in which my clients can access their own wisdom. I provide couple and parenting therapy for issues including divorce and co-parenting.

About My Practice

Office Hours
Monday-Friday 10-8 by appointment only Saturdays for established client make up sessions
I tailor therapy for each client's needs. For those seeking greater insight into their lives, relationships, and challenges, I use talk therapy, expressive arts, dream/imaginal work, and Hakomi/mindfulness-based techniques. For clients experiencing depression or anxiety, I use CBT methods to challenge and correct destructive thought patterns and EMDR to reprocess dysfunctionally stored early memories. I have a particular interest in helping people experiencing crises of faith or meaning, major life transitions, "mid-life crises" and exploration of life path or career path, or any deeper exploration of the inner landscape. These difficult transitions can become opportunities to create more authentic, fulfilling lives and relationships. I help clients develop creative ways to honor the passages in their lives, including rituals to mark and honor transitions. These rituals can be a powerful catalyst for growth, provide a roadmap for new ventures, or offer closure and facilitate letting go of what no longer serves.
