Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
The focus of our work together is to expand self-awareness and promote deep self-transformation. This work is rooted primarily in a moment-to-moment encounter with your own authentic experience and in the relationship between us. Our work draws upon: traditional methods of psychoanalysis (life narrative, in-depth exploration of dreams, examining your family of origin, emotional and relationship difficulties, and exploring the intersubjective field between us); psycho-synthesis; visualization; and spiritual inquiry. Though our work together I can help you to recognize, explore and heal the deep dimensions of your experience-your physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual identity, and deepen your personal and professional participation in the world.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
