Personal Statement:
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Redding, California. My experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and adults. My current treatment focus is eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting skills, couples issues, and childhood behavioral disorders. I have received training in Parent child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), both from UC Davis and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) from DaLene Forester, Ph.D., LMFT, EMDRIA Approved Trainer. I am a member of the National Eating Disorders Association, Eating Disorder Referral and Information Center, and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I pride myself in providing empathy and helping clients to feel safe during sessions, which includes accepting my clients for who they are, what they bring into each therapy session, and what stage they are in with their relationships and life.
