Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a therapist, I believe that you are the expert when it comes to your life. After all, you are living it. However, due to my education and experience I can be available to help you sort out the issues in your life that you find challenging and help you through difficult times. In my work as a therapist, I incorporate many different approaches to create a treatment plan that fits and best suits your needs. By practicing traditional Psychotherapy as well as EMDR, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Relaxation Techniques, I give you an opportunity to explore and process your concerns on many different levels. My goal is to create a safe and relaxing environment in which you feel comfortable sharing your secrets and worries, as well as a place where you can learn new coping skills to deal with life. I am very excited to be able to offer Triple P, Positive Parenting Program to families struggling with their child's behavioral issues. As an accredited provider of Triple P Standard Level 4 as well as Level 4 for Teens, I am able to help you whether your child is 6 or 16. This innovative program, that has it's origin in Queensland Australia, has helped parents from all over the world. I invite you to call me for a free phone consultation so we can discuss treatment options.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
