Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
"The great thing in life is not so much where we are, but in what direction we are moving"....Oliver Wendell Holmes. I am dedicated to working with clients to explore and resolve issues that are holding them back and in working as part of a collaborative team to assist clients in defining their goals and realizing their dreams. As a therapist, I work with clients to develop skill sets which increase their self-confidence and help them gain courage to get unstuck in their lives, to make harmonious life transitions, repair and build relationships, heal emotional wounds, and pursue the life they deserve. If you are looking for someone who will assist you to gain clarity, establish a life plan, and help you open the door for new possibilities, then call me to schedule a complimentary phone session.

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
