Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
"The great thing in life is not so much where we are, but in what direction we are moving"....Oliver Wendell Holmes. I am dedicated to working with clients to explore and resolve issues that are holding them back and in working as part of a collaborative team to assist clients in defining their goals and realizing their dreams. As a therapist, I work with clients to develop skill sets which increase their self-confidence and help them gain courage to get unstuck in their lives, to make harmonious life transitions, repair and build relationships, heal emotional wounds, and pursue the life they deserve. At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
