Personal Statement:
In addition to her work with depression, trauma, and grief, Beverly specializes in working with individuals and families who struggle from addictions and Codependency. She facilitates intensive therapy groups and weekends for adults addressing painful issues from the past. Beverly incorporates both Cognitive Behavioral techniques and a depth psychological perspective incorporating modern therapy tools with experiential techniques such as dreamwork, music and art therapy, sandtray work, and psychodrama in her work with children, families and adults. Beverly teaches counseling skills and other Master's Level classes at Chapman University College. Beverly is also a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Team and volunteers her time in both local and regional disasters.
