Personal Statement:
Hello, and thank you for considering me to work with you at this time in your life. My name is Bonnie Summers and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a private practice in Pleasant Hill. . Professionally, I have had the privilege of working with many wonderful people including individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. I enjoy working with people focusing on women’s issues, the healthy development of a sense of self, and the establishment of healthy foundations in marriage. Other areas of specialization include depression & anxiety, parenting issues, life transitions, recovery issues, low self-esteem, and premarital counseling. I also enjoy teaching parenting classes and running on-going women’s groups. Personally, I have been married for 23 years and have two teenage children.
