Personal Statement:
I am a licensed MFT, and have been in private practice in San Francisco and Oakland(currently only in Oakland) for 32 years. I taught and supervised in the couples and family speciality at JFK University from 1978-2004, and have taught and trained therapists throughout the Bay Area as well. I am relationally and attachment oriented and my work is quite influenced by the ideas behind Emotionally Focused Therapy. Areas of particular interest in my practice are life transitions, addiction, co-dependency, parenting, gender-specific issues, couples therapy, supervision and consultation.
