Personal Statement:
Michal Mayo-Dvir, Psy.D.is a psychotherapist with a strong commitment to societal and environmental causes. She believes that respect for ourselves, others, and the environment is the key for a happy, healthy, and meaningful life. Michal has an extensive experience conducting psychotherapy with adults and children who face a variety of interpersonal and psychological issues. In addition to providing individual, couple, and family psychotherapy, Michal facilitates workshops and seminars as well as support and psycho-educational groups. Her areas of clinical emphasis include: Pediatric & Adult Anxiety ; Parenting ; Self-Esteem Issues ; Interpersonal Relationships ; ADHD ; Life & Career Decisions.

Michal incorporates her personal devotion to natural and balanced living into her professional practice. Her non-pharmaceutical treatment approach relies mainly on the CBT approach with an added emphasis on spirituality and is based on the notion that human beings have an innate capacity for healing and growth.
