Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Providing a safe environment to work on a wide range of issues including relationship problems, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and family structures. My clientele includes families, couples, adolescents and individuals. Through the use of talk therapy and art therapy I aim to help clients achieve their goals through an increased self-awareness and personal insight. In my experience it is possible to change our thoughts in order to change the way we feel and behave. Making small adjustments can lead to more positive feelings, a greater sense of well being, and a significant ability to better manage stress. An area of focus in my practice is counseling couples who are seeking to strengthen their partnership in early parenthood. As a couple you can work on continuing to grow together while facing the demands of parenthood. We work together to create balance as you transition from a couple to a family.
