Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Finding a therapist who feels like the "right fit" can be an overwhelming task but is one of the most important aspects of a successful therapy. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and desires. My strengths lie in helping you to understand yourself and connect to your innermost thoughts, feelings and desires. Through fostering this connection I can help you break free from repetitive patterns, work through issues that are troubling you and understand your feelings and the reasons behind them so you begin to feel better. My style is warm, compassionate and curious. People have come to see me for many different reasons including: difficult relationships, childhood trauma, disordered eating, low self esteem, body issues, loss of a parent, addictive behaviors (shopping, eating, sex) and issues around gender and sexuality.
