Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
No one ever told you your 20s would suck. Maybe you're out on your own for the first time after college and feeling isolated and stressed. Maybe you've been on your own for a while, but are feeling lost in your career, hoping to make money by doing what you love, but instead making ends meet by working a job that's less than inspiring. Perhaps you've been dating around and now feel like it's time to settle down and find "the one", but that "one" is proving to be pretty elusive.

I've been there. And guess what? THERAPY HELPS. It can be scary to call up a therapist for the first time, but when you find the right one, it's worth it! I make the therapeutic process fun and engaging by using humor and a real sense of authenticity.

I also have a background in the performing arts, which gives me insight into the unique challenges of the artist's life. If you're looking for a dynamic therapeutic experience, please don't hesitate to call. I look forward to working with you.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
