Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Carl is a gentle, open individual who possesses the ability to touch the hearts of those ready and willing to accept one of the greatest challenges life holds--bringing about change. Drawing from over 12 years of experience in the field of psychology, Carl works with individuals, couples, families and their children to increase the overall self-esteem of the individual(s) within the system by increasing their ability to make positive life choices, take personal responsibility for themselves, and become more emotionally available - to self and others. Carl has an extensive background and understanding of the Process Validation Model developed by Virginia Satir. The use of this model allows him to work with his clients toward a deeper and more connected place, and to acknowledge, accept, love and forgive the hurts that continue to hurt. Carl is a trained "Trainer" of the Satir Process Model, providing educational opportunities for therapist to learn the model. He is a regular guest lecturer at Sacramento State University - presenting the Satir Process Model and its effectiveness in working with people of all ages, genders, ethnicity, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds.
