Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I love my work as a psychotherapist, and consider it an honor and privilege to work with my clients and share in their quest for personal growth. I know that the decision to start therapy is often a difficult one. I applaud your initiative. My approach aims to engage, to inspire and to help you imagine new possibilities. My goal is to assist you in developing tools and skills that enable you to more effectively deal with life and its challenges. A safe place for you to examine your thoughts, feelings, and relationship patterns, is essential for your development and well-being. The wound to our authenticity usually develop or are inflicted in early interpersonal relationships, and generally need to be resolved through a relationship. This is what makes psychotherapy a potent and healing discipline, unique to each individual and couple.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
