Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I work with new parents and new moms so that they can be Happy With Baby. I love helping them with this transition to parenthood because so many new parents are struggling to manage their relationships now that baby is here and moms are often struggling with anxiety and depression and feel it is taboo to talk about. I give them the tools and resources they need to help them feel better as their family changes. I enjoy the experience of working with couples and individuals, as they become more self aware, enabling them to live their life to its fullest potential. I believe that therapy should be an interactive conversation between myself and you (my client) that works to uncover hidden beliefs, feelings and assumptions that prevent the you from leading a healthy and fulfilling life. Through the therapeutic process, it is the goal that the you will attain insight into these beliefs and develop a greater self-awareness. This will allow for you to live a more purposeful, self-respecting, and productive life.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
