Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I collaborate with my clients by assisting them in identify patterns which are no longer serving them. I encourage my clients to be compassionate towards themselves to facilitate change in their lives. Working from an empathic-based perspective, I teach clients to nurture themselves by using tools of mindfulness to help them to find their strengths to improve their lives. As a therapist I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment. My main objective is to help foster resiliency in clients. I work from a holistic approach, bringing mind, body and spirit together to facilitate personal healing. Through the use of breathwork, EFT, acupressure, and art therapy. I work from a strength-based, solution focused and self-compassion mindfulness perspective therapy. My goal in therapy is to help my clients externalize their problems so that they can view them through a new perspective, through the use of mindfulness, art, words, and sensations.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
