Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My theoretical approach is rooted in existential therapy and Gestalt therapy; however, I believe that an integrated approach to therapy is a valuable tool in helping my clients gain a balanced perspective on the life issues they are facing. I also believe humor is a valuable tool in counseling. If a client desires, I will incorporate spirituality into the therapy I provide. I view therapy as a collaborative, sharing experience and seek to help my clients feel safe, comfortable, and truly understood. I look forward to working with you on your mental health journey.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Pasadena, CA 91101

I am a Marriage and Family therapist in private practice. I work with individuals, couples, and families in short and long-term psychotherapy. We work together to explore memories of the relational dynamics of the individual’s family, the feelings those dynamics created for the individual as a child, and how the individual now relates to those feelings and memories.
