Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you hoping to gain insight into your interpersonal relationships and rediscover yourself? Are you looking for specific strategies to live a more balanced and fulfilling life? I can help. Together we’ll explore your self-defeating behaviors, irrational thoughts and family dynamics. We will also concentrate on what makes you unique, resilient and hopeful. My approach to therapy is creative, lively and experiential. The awareness that will come with this journey of discovery, coupled with a genuine therapeutic relationship between us, will lead to long-term growth and healing.

I also believe there is a place for humor in psychotherapy. Humor has significant therapeutic benefits, such as lessening anxiety and promoting relaxation. So, we may laugh. I assure you, therapy is a wonderful process that brings you into the here-and-now… a great place to be!

Sessions are affordable, scheduled at your convenience and can include day, evening or weekend appointments.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
