Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Overwhelmed by worry or stress? Feeling blue and blaming yourself? Fighting with or feeling distant from your partner? I applaud you for taking the first step in seeking therapy. I'll help you to move through your shame and embrace your magnificence. I provide a free initial consultation to try out therapy with me. If you are struggling with work, relationship or parenting stress, childhood abuse, life transitions or loss I will teach you how to shift old patterns, heal, and make positive changes. You can feel better and thrive! I love helping clients by using my knowledge and intuition to offer a fresh perspective. I know that it's not easy to start therapy. I'll honor and respect your vulnerability and secrets, and will support and empower you to make the changes you desire. I teach clients practical techniques for stress-reduction and alleviating depression, while helping you shift your negative beliefs into more positive, life-enhancing ones. At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
