Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Maybe your life isn't the way you expected it would be...maybe you are struggling with feelings of anxiety or depression...or maybe you just feel stuck? Whatever is going on, I am here to help. My approach is to meet you where you are, and work together to unfold the roadblocks to being where you want to be. I believe that therapy is an interactive process, and I seek to create an environment of acceptance and connection. Together, we will work to find whatever it is that is eluding you. I also specialize in conducting therapy/support groups for parents of "special needs" children Please call or email today for a free consultation. I look forward to meeting with you

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
