Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Choosing a psychotherapist is a very personal decision. If you are considering working with a psychotherapist, I encourage contacting anyone you are interested in and speaking with them on the telephone or in person to get a sense of them and if they are a good “fit” for you. I have thirteen years of experience with individuals, couples and children of different cultures, ethnicities, and ages. Most people want to feel better, to improve their lives and relationships in some way. I am gratified and honored to work with them to get to a desired place. Being a psychotherapist is where my heart is and I continue to learn both personally and professionally from patients, colleagues, and mentors. Best regards to you in finding what you are looking for. If I can be of help please call.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
