Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
We all want to feel whole and that we are living a healthy and balanced life. Often our history and life experiences may have caused pain and fears that color and mold the life choices we make. Out of these events we can often of find ourselves in repeating patterns and unhealthy relationships in spite of our best efforts to change. People often seek therapy as a way to explore these circumstances in a safe and nurturing place to more effectively reach their personal goals.. Sometimes people have struggled with feelings of anxiety and depression and may just want to feel better about themselves. I see therapy as a mutual commitment and partnership committed to someone gaining clarity and understanding as they work toward achieving a greater sense of emotional well being. I offer a warm, empathic and safe place where someone can feel deeply understood as they explore the events and feelings that have shaped their life and where they will feel supported through the difficult process of change. My goal is to have my clients leave treatment feeling stronger more able to move through life independently and have the tools to better be able to creatively and confidently work through the challenges that come their way in day to day life. Therapy with me is a commitment to your well-being and personal growth.
