Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Do you often wonder, is this it? Do you feel incomplete, as if something is missing from your life and relationships? I want to help you live more fully in the present by healing the past pain you can’t seem to shake and to have the confidence to handle whatever may come your way. Sadness and anxiety can cripple us and block us from experiencing a more fulfilled life. I want to help you find hope in the midst of depression, peace in the chaos of anxiety, to create a healthier self-esteem, and experience greater joy and happiness. I will work with you to uncover immediate ways of improving your quality of life with solution-focused interventions, while also taking time to identify and change long stemming harmful patterns that have you feeling ‘stuck.’ I have found that using a cognitive behavioral and person-centered approach is effective in achieving pronounced positive changes. The first step to real change comes from awareness of ourselves, of what may be holding us back, and what we truly want. Allow me to help you in revealing your best self. I am passionate about helping you to improve your self-esteem, your relationships, and to have a better quality of life. By challenging negative and false beliefs, reducing anxiety, and increasing hope, you will be well on your way to a more fulfilling life. Let’s together take those small steps that create profound positive changes.
