Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Therapy together will be a conversation about you, your feelings and thoughts, and what changes you would like to see in your life. I will help you explore your concerns, gain new understanding about yourself, and improve your relationships. You can learn new ways to calm yourself that can help you cope with life's stresses, and move past old patterns that no longer are useful. I work with individuals and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, difficult relationships, or who want to enjoy life more fully, and aren’t sure how to do that. Some problems I have helped people cope with are divorce, traumatic events, and grief. I also help with parenting, step-parenting, and adolescent changes.
