Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have been working in the field of mental health for about 28 years in one capacity or another; my professional experience is broad. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults; male and female, individuals who have been challenged with sex offenses, domestic violence and substance abuse/addictions. I have worked with many cultures and I do have expertise in lesbian and gay relationships. I am also experienced in working with transgender and bisexual individuals as well. I have experience working with women who are struggling with past trauma issues and currently struggling with recovery from adictions. I have also experience in providing counseling to women and families who are attempting to reunify with their children due to a Child Portective Services casee. I now have acquired my license as an Marriage Family Therapist. I recently developed a private practice to work and treat individuals and families who are struggling with life and lifes choices. I love helping others on their journey in finding their way to the light and in gaining hope for a brighter future.
