Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Life poses many challenges for us all and most of the time we are able to take control of these situations in a healthy manner and move forward. However, sometimes we are unexpectedly troubled by our experiences and need help navigating beyond them. It is with these moments that therapy can provide insight and objective feedback which can help lead to the changes that you are hoping to achieve.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been providing therapy for over seven years. During this time, I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have experience working on concerns related to relationships, depression, anxiety, loss/bereavement, trauma, self-esteem, personal growth, and anger. Also, I have worked in a variety of different settings including private practice, foster care, and group homes.

I would be privileged to have the opportunity to help improve your life. I provide a complimentary initial 50-minute session in which we can discuss your experiences and together create your blueprint for a happier and healthier life. My fee is established on a sliding scale of $70-$100 per 50-minute session thereafter. We all deserve a safe and empathetic place to heal. Please schedule an appointment when you’re ready.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
