Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Occasionally, we can all feel overwhelmed, indecisive or just plain stuck. Sometimes all we need is a shift in perspective. Other times, we need support, encouragement and perhaps some new coping skills to help us navigate the demands and events in life that pull us out of balance. Every person and experience, problem and solution is unique and it is my intention to hear your individual story and together, we can uncover and unleash your internal strength and power to overcome obstacles and reach your unique potential. I focus on helping individuals connect more deeply with themselves and others. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, early attachment issues, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, co-dependency, and communication issues. I also assist those who are experiencing major life transitions or struggling with adapting to new roles and challenges. My previous experience at well-known corporations has enriched my perspective in addressing work place concerns, career transitions and work/life balance. I am an experienced EMDR practitioner and use this evidence-based treatment (among many others) for trauma, early childhood wounds and for optimal performance enhancement.
