Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. As a humanistic and solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapeutic approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If you're looking for extra support, education and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. For 16 years, I've had the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge, experience, as well as share my expertise while working as a public servant for several Bay Area counties as a CPS worker, Marriage Family and Child Counselor, Juvenile Probation Counselor, Medical Social Worker, and EAP Training Provider.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone.
