Personal Statement:
Feeling anxious, sad or having difficulty with a relationship? Worried about your child's behavior or moods? I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families of all ages, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, & income levels helping heal from painful trauma or losses, cope with difficult circumstances, improve relationships, or resolve problem issues. I use a variety of methods including listening & talking, cognitive-behavioral therapy, sand tray, role-play, play therapy, art, skills training, bibliotherapy, &/or whatever method works best for you. I am very experienced and well equipped to work with children ages 3 and up, providing child-centered play therapy, sand tray & art therapy. I meet with the child's parents or caretakers regularly to discuss the child's needs and how to best support the child's progress. My own very diverse life experience informs my practice and contributes to my cultural awareness and sensitivity, and my intimate knowledge of a variety of circumstances and situations. I am passionate about providing each client with high quality therapeutic services customized to the needs of each individual.
