Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have been providing therapy in the Visalia-Hanford-Tulare area since beginning as an intern in 1982. I work with individuals, families and couples in walking through times of transition, pain, or personal growth. I enjoy the challenges of integrating emotional and cognitive struggle in dealing with personal and family development. Many clients have appreciated being able to explore this within faith base. Having served within a church context for many years, this integration is comfortable for me.

I am in private practice, delivering telemedicine via Skype and FaceTime or by phone. My area of special emphasis is helping people improve their important relationships, and working with my clients to decrease and stop depression. If you are reading this, chances are one or more of your important relationshps are not working very well. Whether it's difficulty with a partner or spouse, teens or parents, friends or co-workers, a troubled relationship is painful.
